On July 13 and 14, BMX European Cup rounds 9 and 10 will be held at Māris Štrombergs BMX track in Valmiera. The event is organized by the Union Europeenne de Cyclisme (UEC). It is expected that currently leading Latvian and foreign athletes in the elite, U-23 and junior classes will participate, as well as the best riders in 22 Challenge categories will take part. Kristens Krīgers, Latvia's best elite athlete, has already confirmed his participation in this year's European Cup competition in Valmiera, who also received approval for participation in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The entrance is free of charge for spectators.
