The MXGP World and European Motocross Championship competitions gather annually in Ķegums the strongest motocross riders of Latvia and the world. Organizing the championship stage in Ķegums has become a tradition, as more than 3 000 foreign guests come to Latvia to participate and watch this competition in person. This is a unique opportunity for every motocross enthusiast to experience the world's motocross heavyweights battle it out on a real sand track.
The event will take place over two days, where on Saturday the riders will do training and qualification rides, while on Sunday the main event of the event will be the "Grand Prix" with two final races in the MXGP and MX2 classes. The riders of the EMX125 and EMX250 classes will also fight for the valuable points of the European Championship during the weekend who will go to the first final races on the track already on Saturday.
During the event, guests will be entertained by a DJ, there will be food options and the sale of competition souvenirs. Even the smallest visitors will be able to play in the amusement area.
