St. John's Church
Not far from the Cēsis castle you can find St. John's Church, which was built at the end of the 13th century, and during which time it was the largest church in the Vidzeme region. Even today, after several renovations, the church maintains its powerful and impressive look. You should visit the church to see the footstones of the graves of Livonian Order masters and listen to the sound of the organ that fills not only the church but its surroundings as well.
