Sigulda New Castle is open to the public for visiting its National Romanticism interior, contemporary exhibitions and diverse cultural venues, as well as for organizing marriage ceremonies and events. Sigulda New Castle is available for rent for cultural and educational events only.

Built in 1878 by the Kropotkin knyazes, Sigulda New Castle has retained its neo-Gothic exterior, while today, it is an architectural monument of national importance, once considered the most splendid Writers’ Castle Manor in Europe after the 1937 reconstruction project done by architect Alfrēds Birkhāns. Following the 1937 reconstruction project the castle acquired a unique National Romanticism interior, which has been preserved to this day and restored between 2017 and 2021, marking the castle as a jewel in Latvian architecture.  Today, the buildings of the Creative Quarter are home to craftsmen and artisans, whose studios and salons offer the opportunity to learn new skills and buy souvenirs. The outdoor area of the castle is spacious enough for organizing various events and activities.
