Teirumnieki Bog and its surroundings is a part of Lubāna Wetland Complex, which is a protected territory of international importance. The trail leads along wooden footpaths with the total length of 800 m.
The footpath made for exploring the bog goes along the picturesque Teirumnieki Lake and its miry coast. At the start of the trail, there is a place for campfire, but at the end – a recreation area with benches.
