Shōyu is a traditional ramen shop. We serve an authentic Japanese ramen with homemade noodles, delicious rice bowls and izakaya starters like kushiyaki and gyoza just like in Shibuya, Tokyo. In our restaurant we offer various styles of this amazing dish - with lighter and more delicate broths, and also thick and creamy tonkotsu ramen! Shōyu is a Japanese word - which means "soy sauce" - which is quintessential in almost any Asian dish.
We have researched and developed our recipes for almost eight years prior to opening and our owner has traveled to Japan multiple times in the past in order to improve our craft.
