Contemporary cuisine, original ideas and advantages of small details - the restaurant “Max Chekot Kitchen” combines them all. This restaurant offers a finely thought out set menu with ten courses, including vegetarian options and wine pairings or soft drinks. The drinks are carefully selected to enhance the flavour of each dish. Furthermore, the selection of dishes on offer changes depending on the season and the availability of high-quality ingredients. Each experience in the restaurant “Max Cekot Kitchen” will be truly special and unique.
Restaurant “Nomad” invites you on a unique gastronomical journey through Pan-Asian cuisine - exploring Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese traditional dishes, as well as a bouquet of flavours from Argentina, Peru and America. Unique interior, design and food preparation techniques - this is a one-off adventure.
"TAILS"
TAILS is a new concept fish restaurant on the gastronomic map of Riga. The premises are arranged in two areas: the classic restaurant hall and the Raw Bar counter opposite the open kitchen, where guests can watch the cooking process. The interior of the restaurant, designed by London-based designers, showcases a sophisticated sense of aesthetics inspired by the Baltic Sea coast.
The three chefs restaurant „Tam labam būs augt” is an open-kitchen restaurant, which is loved by both residents of Riga and guests of the city. In September 2011, it was founded by two well-known chefs in Latvia - Mārtiņš Sirmais and Ēriks Dreibants. The chef of the restaurant is Pāvels Skopa, who is responsible for product selection, cooperation with farmers and supervises the kitchen on a daily basis.
Restaurant also offers cooking master classes with the chef and tours with tastings in the Riga Central Market, which allows guests to discover and see Latvia through the eyes of the chef.
The top-notch restaurant, which is among the 30 best new restaurants in Europe - is “Chef’s Corner”. It is located in the midst of all the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in the Quiet centre, which will give you a real holiday feel, even if you visit the restaurant on an ordinary day.
This restaurant is especially proud of its high-quality steaks, however, vegetarians will also find dishes suitable to their taste. Head Chef Reinis Strazdins is convinced - the real journey of flavours begins in a place where there is genuine love and understanding of the ingredients, their seasonality and preparation techniques.
Experience exquisite flavours in a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant “JOHN”. Head Chef Kristaps Sīlis creates a menu that is always changing and adapting to the seasons, as well as offers of local and regional produce from the suppliers. The Head Chef of the restaurant “John” is convinced that cooking is an art and the food created by his team - a work of art. Therefore restaurant guests are invited to enjoy the ambience and the exquisite restaurant experience all day long. In the summer there is a roof terrace to enjoy an exclusive view of Riga’s oldest park - Viesturdarzs.
One of the most accomplished head chefs in Latvia is Raimonds Zommers, therefore we recommend trying a menu based on Latvian values in the restaurant “Entresol”. In addition to the classic menu, which incorporates meat, fish and vegetable dishes, the Head Chef recommends sampling their unique starters - knapas. They are purposely small, so that during a single restaurant visit you can enjoy both hot and cold, mild and spicy flavours that will take your taste buds on a rollercoaster.
“Fabrikas restorāns” is located in the quiet and peaceful area of Kipsala, right on the shore of the River Daugava - with a superb view of the old town. But the restaurant itself is housed in a renovated historic gypsum factory building, which gives the place a special feel.
In “Fabrikas restorāns” you can taste and enjoy the cuisine of different nations and regions, and the menu also has a touch of Latin American and Asian flavours.
Restaurant with a view - it is the restaurant “Osta”. When visiting this restaurant, it is possible to experience magical moments watching the boats and yachts pass by as you tuck into an unrushed and unhurried meal.
During the week the restaurant offers lunch with a view - the lunch menu changes every week. But on weekends you can spend time with your family while enjoying a late breakfast. In the evenings we suggest you try a refreshing gin cocktail - the guests of “Osta” restaurant will discover a specially selected gin range. Try one of the bartender’s flavour combinations or create your own gin and tonic.
A Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in Riga - it is the restaurant “Riviera”! On this restaurant’s menu you will find flavours from Italy, Spain, France and Greece, which are complimented by a specially selected wine list containing the most popular wines from the Mediterranean countries. As the Head Chef Janis Sokolovskis admits, here they combine the best ingredients in a way that is easily palatable to the local foodies, but with a taste that is familiar and characteristic to “Riviera”.
Restaurant ”Barents” is proud of its northern origins, therefore guests are offered an opportunity to get to know and enjoy the freshest and highest quality local produce - cold water seafood, vegetables and other goodies from local farms and fishermen.
Wine is an excellent addition to restaurant meals and for that reason the ”Barents” sommelier has picked wines which come from colder climates and are best paired with cold water seafood and vegetables. There is an “à la carte” menu or a tasting menu available with five or seven courses, which will take you on a real adventure of northern flavours.
Either you choose new and undiscovered places or tried and tested values - a restaurant visit will always cheer you up!
